Shady New Deal
It's been pointed out not only by us pedestrians but by the consultants, decade after decade, and yet our pedestrian malls are still as hot as ever. So come with me and explore the City through some tinted lenses.

A Planned City, for Whom?
Conflicting visions may soon see the character of this area give way to rapid population growth. The City's own targets calls for a growth of West Perth from 1608 homes to at least 5326, tripling its residential footprint by 2036.

About
I'm Jason Naijiao Bo
A small business owner, with a background in mechanical engineering and quantitative finance, so when I read our City's words? I don't just see the glowing promises and too-good-to-be-true statements, I read between the lines of the accounts, the plans, the strategies to find the real story beneath the surface.
Most of the answers are already public, hidden in plain sight within thousands of pages, which, let's be honest, almost no one has the time to read.
So I do, and I write up what they say.
But keeping score is only half the battle, knowing where the foundations lie allows me to imagine the future, what our city could be if we were a little more ambitious, what else could be achieved if we were to dabble in the art of the possible.
Of course the disclaimer to wrap up, every analysis is my own and every claim links back to the public record, so if I've gotten the facts wrong, let me know and I'll fix it up.
End of the day, we all want to be confident that our City's leadership is making the right choices for us, right?
