Post Budget Review
Having been very hands on with this budget season - I wanted to give a honest review of the final papers.
We have produced an extremely safe set of numbers - cautious, steady, defensible - and perhaps in this tumultuous global environment it is the right approach.
But that comes at the cost.
Growth and ambition is very difficult without taking some risks - a budget this safe all but guarantees our brand new Capital City Plan towards 2036 will finish more or less where it stands today.
