Amendment cutting the Western Australian Yachting Foundation's sponsorship for the City of Perth Festival of Sail from $30,000 to $10,000 cash for one year.

What it changed. Reduces the Western Australian Yachting Foundation sponsorship for the City of Perth Festival of Sail from $30,000 to $10,000.

Reasons given in the minutes. The event does not deliver the return Council is seeking, noting that sailing is not necessarily a spectator sport. Whilst sailors are commended for doing great work, it is not a sport that activates the City like the other events Council is considering.
